Item detail pages now include Potential Clan Price Manipulation warnings on items that may be currently under the influence of clan manipulation. The trigger for the detection is fairly simple but I also think should be pretty accurate. Basically the warning is triggered whenever an item has increased or decreased by more than 4% four out of the last five days. I think this threshold gives a fair warning about currently manipulated items. Eventually items on the GEC main page, search results, and other sitewide pages will flag items that may currently be under the influence of CM.

Does that mean if i bought a "potential clan merched item" before it ever had the "warning sign" would i still be making my mock ge even if a clan picked it up AFTER i bought it?

Huh? It's just's a warning that means that item looks to be under the influence of manipulation. Do with that information as you wish. The warning in no way effects MGE transactions. Some people might wish to avoid those items. Other people might try to take advantage of it. It's just added information for visitors to consider.

Now if only it was possible to predict the items that will be manipulated.........
