Welcome to our new members. We have gotten a lot of new members over the past couple of days. Which actually kind of worries me because I'm not really seeing too much activity on the MGE with these new users. So just to make sure everything is "square" and on the level, new users must have a minimum of two posts in the forums before they can send private messages. This is just to make sure people can't just register for a forums account and then use it as a free e-mail service. This restriction should not negatively effect legitimate members who intend to use the MGE as it is designed.
Erk, I might be slightly responsible. I've been bigging the forum up with friends and my name is cropping up in search engine searches here.
Hey! Thats Great! Keep em coming. As the site grows it was just a reasonable and safe way to make sure the site was used for the right reasons. The two post limit is very low and is a good way to get people to introduce themselves. I just didn't want the PM system (which is invisiable to me and I do not have any access to messages or useage details) be start being abused behind my back. By certainly keep those visitors coming.

its good to see so many eager people to use the site! Don't feel limited at the three posts though we are always glad to hear from new members and hear what they have to bring to the gec. sorry for any spelling mistakes.
Hummm? I think I did bump it up to three. Must have forgot to mention it.
Still, 3 i think is easily accomplished, esp. for any runescape fan. There is so much to post on.

I don't feel limited to 3 posts, I just tend to be a quiet sort of person and tend not to post too much in forums. However I do enjoy reading and will respond if I have something to say.
